PROTAGONIST(ESME)

esme is the protagonist of .DAT, they're a slightly timid person,
spending most of their time indoors,
tinkering with their electronics or being forced to talk to others online by their best friend, kara.

KARA

kara is the deuteragonist of .DAT, and esme's closest friend,
even if she wouldn't admit it herself.
kara is a massive nerd about the occult,
dedicating most of her free time to collecting dusty tomes
and learning about ancient magic, forgotten languages and strange science.
